The MLC is pleased to announce the 2022 Annual Conference will be held July 12-14 at the Courtyard Gaithersburg Hotel at Washingtonian Center. The conference will include workshops, a curriculum showcase, opportunities to tour mobile labs and networking events.

If you are an MLC member and need the code, please email Board Member Amanda Jones. Please note that all attendees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as defined by the CDC.

Presentations:
The 2022 MLC Conference planning committee is working to develop an impactful agenda and invites you to be part of it! We encourage participation from team members at all levels and offer a variety of options for presenting. Email us to learn more and/or submit an abstract by using this link.
Workshops:
There are two formats:

Traditional single-speaker 45-minute sessions suitable for in-depth, well-developed presentations on key topics
-
Multi-speaker micro-learning workshops with three presenters each speaking for 10-15 minutes
Curriculum Showcase:
Share your curricula with conference attendees on Wednesday, July 13. More details coming soon.
Abstract:
Submit an abstract for a workshop or the curriculum showcase. This form can also be used for a travel scholarship. Preference will be given to those presenting at the conference and with a financial need.
Mobile Lab Rodeo:
The conference includes a mobile lab rodeo on Tuesday, July 12. We invite you to bring your mobile lab to the conference. Email us if you are interested.
Travel, Lodging and Venue:
Travel Scholarships:
A limited number of travel scholarships (up to $700) may be available to help offset the cost of attending the conference. Preference will be given to those presenting at the conference and with a financial need. Submit a request for a travel scholarship. If you have questions, please email us.
Travel, Lodging and Venue:
The primary location for the conference is the Courtyard Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center 204 Boardwalk Place, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. This hotel includes free parking. Check in begins at 3 p.m. and check out is at noon EST.
We have reserved a block of rooms that are available at the discounted rate of $159 per night. The room block will be held until Monday, June 20.
The preferred airport is Washington Dulles Intl. Airport (IAD).
