For those of you who have been part of the MLC for some time, you know how much heart and dedication our Board of Directors pours into advancing our mission. As we approach the end of the year, we want to take a moment to acknowledge and express our deepest gratitude to four leaders transitioning off the Board: David Garbe, Jen Colvin, Joshua von Trapp and Li Murphy.
To commemorate their service, the remaining Board members have shared their well-wishes:
Dave – We are incredibly grateful for the countless hours you’ve dedicated to communications and your eagerness to lend a hand wherever needed. Your hard work and enthusiasm have been invaluable.
Jen – Your creativity and thoughtful guidance have been instrumental for the Board. Thank you for bringing your unique energy and perspective to every project.
Joshua – Thank you for your unwavering commitment to collaboration and your bold vision. Your willingness to embrace and pursue big ideas has been an inspiration to your other board members.
Li – Your thoughtfulness and exceptional attention to detail have been a huge help towards the success of our work. Thank you for your careful and considerate approach to every challenge.
We have truly learned so much from each of you. Your leadership, expertise, and passion have shaped not only the MLC but also our own growth as an educator and leader in this field. I would not feel as confident in my work today without the inspiration and support you’ve all provided. I’ll miss seeing you all regularly but look forward to catching up at next year’s conference!
Thank you Li, Jen, David and Joshua for your tireless efforts and dedication to the MLC over the years. As a team, we have been through program reorganizations, a pandemic, conferences (in-person and virtual), starting families, maintaining families (like our MLC fam!) and we couldn't be more honored than to have served with each of you over the years. As we prepare for the holiday next week, we would like to express our gratitude to this team and communicate how much we will miss collaborating with you on the MLC board.
