We would like to extend special recognition to Dr. Amanda Jones for her continued support to the MLC as she exits the MLC Board of Directors. Dr. Jones is the Senior Director of Seattle Children’s Science Education Department and joined the Mobile Laboratory Coalition in 2008 while creating the Science Adventure Lab program. Since then, she has been a stalwart ambassador for the MLC and the mobile science community.
Serving as both the Board chair and treasurer over the years, Dr. Jones has worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the MLC by maintaining the coalition’s 501(c)(3) status, securing external funding, leading strategic planning initiatives, providing mentorship for countless programs and throwing one heck of a conference!
